Zandre Campos Discusses African Entrepreneurs On The Huffington Post

New York, NY, March 7, 2017 – ABO Capital announced today that its CEO Zandre Campos was featured in the Huffington Post discussing African entrepreneurialism and how it is positively impacting the economy. The article entitled “Why The African Entrepreneurial Economy is Flourishing” was originally published on Huffington Post on March 1, 2017.

Because of the Great Recession, many Africans living outside the continent lost their jobs. They returned home to Africa where they developed an entrepreneurial spirit due to the lack of native jobs. Young entrepreneurs are especially optimistic about the availability of good business opportunities and believe they have the skills and knowledge necessary to start a business. Currently, local businesses are reigning king in Africa. Governments are decreasing international training and imports, and are supporting more local entrepreneurs.

“Continuing the growth of the entrepreneurial spirit in Africa is key, and confidence is a quality that can be a young entrepreneur’s best friend,” said Mr. Campos.

Zandre Campos is chairman and CEO of ABO Capital, an international investment firm that invests in companies in the healthcare, energy, transportation, hospitality, technology and real estate sectors throughout Africa. ABO’s mission is to create global value for developing countries in Africa, while contributing to their economic development.
