ABO Capital, a leading international investment firm headquartered in Angola with holdings throughout the world, held a competitive educational essay contest and awarded a student from Johns Hopkins University a scholarship for one full semester of college and a five-night all expenses paid trip to Angola. In addition to the selected winner, two runners-up also received the trip to Angola.
“Education is a key investment for ABO Capital because education is the foundation for success,” said Mr. Campos, CEO of ABO Capital. “We decided to sponsor this scholarship to give back to students interested in Africa. Today’s students have so much potential that if we give back to them now, they will give back to the continent when they find their success.”
