ABO Capital CEO discusses three areas African countries should develop including tourism, industrialization and agriculture
New York, NY, October 18, 2016 – ABO Capital, a leading international investment firm headquartered in Angola, announced today that its CEO Zandre Campos was featured in the Huffington Post discussing the economic impact of the oil crisis. The article entitled “Why Africa’s Oil Crisis Could Lead to Growth” was originally published on the Huffington Post on October 14, 2016.
The African continent has some of the world’s fastest-growing economies, but many have been negatively impacted by the oil crisis. But with every crisis comes opportunity. The oil crisis forces countries to diversify and transform their economies. Mr. Campos discusses three areas African countries should develop including tourism, industrialization and agriculture. He believes each sector provides the countries with growth opportunities that expand beyond oil.
“Africa’s oil history lasts over a period of several decades,” said Mr. Campos. “Decreasing oil prices will push Africa to the top of the global economy because the countries have so many business opportunities that are waiting for future investors.”
Zandre Campos is the chairman and CEO of ABO Capital, a leading international investment firm in Angola. ABO Capital invests in companies in the energy, transportation, hospitality, healthcare, technology and real estate sectors.
