NEW YORK, NY, August 11, 2016 – Angola Capital Investments (ACI) announced today that its CEO Zandre Campos was featured in the Huffington Post with his insight on lessons that other countries can learn from Finland’s education system. The article entitled “Three Lessons from Finland’s Education System” was originally published on The Huffington Post on August 4, 2016.
Finland has a top-ranked school system among developed nations and it broke the customary rules of education to achieve its success. Mr. Campos looked at three lessons other countries can learn from Finland’s achievement. Mr. Campos concluded that the lessons are children should be allowed to play, teachers should be treated with respect and individual attention should be provided as much as possible.
“Many of the countries in Africa need to find a way to deliver effective, efficient and high-quality higher education systems in the region,” said Mr. Campos. “The Finnish outlook not only highlights the importance and possibility of spending less and still receiving a quality education, it provides a model that every country should learn to emulate.”
