The continued support from ABO Capital has allowed us to provide eye treatment to populations in depressed areas of the world. Since 2014, more than 1,000 people in Angola and Rwanda have benefited from the Barraquer Foundation cataract surgical expeditions.

Because of the generous support of ABO Capital, Shine On Sierra Leone was able to initiate an Ebola response program that met critical needs of the community. There were 67 children who were orphaned by the virus. With continued support, we will be able to assist these next generation children through our Family Support Program (FSP) and provide needed educational and psychosocial support services, as well as train and equip local social workers to be change agents of support in their communities.
